Yonderesque Themes
Hi, I'm Myrii! This is primarily a blog for free Tumblr themes I've created, but will also include my favourite themes/resources from elsewhere, tutorials arising from my own adventures in web development, and much more!
If I can offer any support regarding my themes or web development in general, I'm happy to help! ^^

THEME [33] R.P.G. by YUKOKI

✄ ALMANDINE: live / static | RHODONITE: live / static | VIEW CODE ✄

  • 46 colour options
  • 9 custom links (click-activated)
  • 1 column only
  • small posts option (400px)
  • show captions option
  • monochrome posts option
  • infinite scrolling option
  • fading photos option
  • popup blogroll option
  • permalink pokemon pixels option
  • white photoset lightbox (courtesy of ladmilk uvu)

This theme has a lot of freedom when it comes to the pixels and icons, so I’ll write a tutorial about how to upload your own ones asap, as well as (maybe) post a resource of individual rpg icons from 7soul1. You can get pokemon sprites from here!

Please like/reblog if you’re using the theme! :)

I’m now off hiatus!

I’m back from my exams and I have a lot of stuff to get going with!

My main priority at the moment is completing a new theme that will be rolled out across (nearly) all of my blogs. I’ve wanted some continuity between them for a while now so I’m keen to complete it as soon as possible.

After that, the next thing I want to do is rewrite themes 01-05. For the most part, this will not cause many major changes to these themes, as it’s mostly a case of improving my code for HTML5 – I’ve learned a lot since 2012! #TH02 will be undergoing some style changes though. I’d recommend that as many people as possible using these themes update their code after this is done – I’ll be looking into ways that people can update their code without changing the customisation they may have already done.

So, the build for #TH07 will probably not happen for some time. I have a design in mind but it will just be a while coming. This doesn’t mean this blog will be largely inactive – this summer I’m at work whenever I can be which is always a good source of learning, so there may be some tutorials and stuff on the horizon!

And of course, I’m always willing to answer questions whenever. :)

Hello! I recently installed your everbloom theme. I think it's a great theme and it works quite well, but unfortunately there's a small problem. The background from my old theme seems to be stuck. No matter how many times I tried removing the background or uploading a different image, it still stays the same. Do you have any idea why this is? and thank you in advance.

Hi, thanks for using my theme! ^^ I don’t know whether or not I’m answering this quite late, so sorry if I am…
To be honest, I’m not really sure exactly why this happens. Since the default background for this theme is set in the code that should really be showing up first. It doesn’t explain why you can’t change it though, perhaps it’s more of a Tumblr issue?
I’m on Tumblr mobile at the moment so I can’t have a good look at the problem right now, but I’ll definitely try to figure some sort of solution out tonight if possible and I will get back to you ASAP! I’ll send you an ask from naegim, my personal. :)

so i downloaded your latest theme since it was nice and neat! But everytime i try out the links for Submit, Question, it said URL could not be found. Pls help? Thank you

Hiya – thanks a lot! :) The most likely problem is that your ask/submit links aren’t actually turned on in Tumblr settings. You want it to look like this:

image

image

Alternatively (I know that this could be an issue so I’ll talk about it here), if you decide you want to change the links to something else (since simply deleting the ask/submit petals makes everything go a bit weird, unfortunately), you want to look for this code:

<li><a href=”/ask”><span class=”icon-question”></span><span>Ask</span></a></li>
<li><a href=”/”><span class=”icon-home”></span><span>Home</span></a></li>
<li><a href=”/submit”><span class=”icon-envelope”></span><span>Submit</span></a></li>

Change “Ask” and/or “Submit” to whatever label you want, and change the “/ask” or “/submit” to your desired URL(s) – if you want to change the icon too, check out the Font Awesome 3.2.1 cheatsheet and replace “icon-question” or “icon-envelope” with another of your choice and hopefully that should work!

Oh, and make sure you apply those changes to the navigation under both the highlighted sections in this image! If you don’t, it means that at smaller (or potentially, bigger) screen sizes your navigation changes won’t show up properly.

If you’re still having trouble with anything, feel free to ask and I’ll try to help you out! :)

An Announcement about the Theme Garden

Hey! I just wanted to let you guys know that I am now phasing out distribution of my themes through the Theme Garden, as it’s really only given me trouble when updating my codes.

I will still be uploading my new themes to the Theme Garden for the sake of complying with Tumblr’s TOU, but please do not download them from there. If you do this, you will end up using an older version of the theme which may or may not have been tweaked/fixed in numerous ways.

Thank you! :)
